The SDCCU Holiday Bowl is a major contributor to San Diego tourism, and the game has gained a reputation as one of bowl season’s most exciting. Proper promotion of the game and its festivities, as well as year round events, is vital to San Diego’s economic prosperity.

The website redesign focused on restating the organization’s marketing goals and developing an easy-to-use site that promoted the game to both the local community and out-of-town visitors alike. A thoughtful wire-framing process was key to stripping away old content and improving usability. With numerous events, stories, attractions and sponsors to present, a clear content strategy, complemented by inviting graphics, imagery and typography resulted in a fresh look for the the biggest game in town.

With the potential for users to be coming in from all over and various mobile devices the site required an effective responsive design.
